| Serial Ports: The HFM-7A provides for
four serial ports. The serial ports support a system host computer interface,
printer interface, card reader and laptop computer calibration interface. All
ports have 9 pin D-type female connectors. |
| The Eberline HFM-7A Hand and Foot Monitor is
a multiple microcessor-based radiation dectection system which provides a quick
indication of excessive alpha and beta-gamma contamination on the hands and
shoes of personnel. |
| The multiple microcomputer system provides a
sophisticated and flexible means of acquiring and manipulating data and
presenting operational condititions and alarms on the alphanumeric vacuum
fluorescent display and status indicator lights. The status indicator lights
located on the center of the front panel indicate Ready, Counting, Alarm, and
Out of service conditions. The status indicator lights on the left side og the
front panel indicate which detectors, if any, alarmed during a measure
cycle. |
